Let's see. I graduated from Towson University and University of Maryland University College. I wanted to go into film, particularly film scoring - but I have zero musical talent, at least not enough to compete with Hans Zimmer. So, I went into Advertising and later Technology Management instead. I don't regret it. As it turns out, I can play Pandora quite well.
Present
Today, I lead product for a massive federal conversational platform serving millions of people. I run my teams on high autonomy and zero micromanagement - find smart people, figure out what they do best, clear the absurd bureaucracy out of their way, and let them work. But between you and me? I spend 90% of my day living in my head. My real obsessions are ancient history, dissecting “the human dilemma,” and crafting things with wood, glass and sometimes copper when my hands need a break from keyboards.
Future
Professionally, I want to work where AI and human experience actually intersect with ethics and dignity, building tools that augment human potential rather than eroding our basic grace (yes, I say "thank you" to my AI, because technology shouldn't make us worse). Personally? My North Star is simpler: keep doing work I'm elite at until I can move to Europe, and spend my later years studying archaeology and finally learning Hellenic Greek.
